Jalapeno Turkey Burger

A blend of flavors that will get your taste buds tingling. These burgers are juicy and mouth-watering, made with extra lean ground turkey, smoked paprika, chili powder, and jalapeño peppers.
- 1 pound extra lean ground turkey
- 1 egg, whisked
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 Jalapeno pepper, finely chopped and seeds removed for less heat
- ⅓ cup red onion, grated and drained of excess water
- sea salt & black pepper, to taste
- 1¼ cups coleslaw mix
- ⅓ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Lime Juice
- 8 whole wheat buns, toasted
In a large bowl, add 1 pound ground turkey, 1 whisked egg, 1 tablespoon smoked paprika, 2 teaspoons chili powder, 1 finely chopped jalapeño, and ⅓ cup grated red onion. Mix well and season with salt and pepper. Form the mixture into even patties.
Preheat grill to medium heat.
Add the patties to the grill and cook 6 to 7 minutes per side or until cooked through.
In a bowl, add 1¼ cups coleslaw, ⅓ cup mayonnaise, and 2 tablespoons lime juice. Combine well.
Divide the burgers onto buns and top with coleslaw mixture.
