Jalapeno Turkey Burger

A blend of flavors that will get your taste buds tingling. These burgers are juicy and mouth-watering, made with extra lean ground turkey, smoked paprika, chili powder, and jalapeño peppers.

  • 1 pound extra lean ground turkey
  • 1 egg, whisked
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 Jalapeno pepper, finely chopped and seeds removed for less heat
  • cup red onion, grated and drained of excess water
  • sea salt & black pepper, to taste
  • cups coleslaw mix
  • cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Lime Juice
  • 8 whole wheat buns, toasted


  • In a large bowl, add 1 pound ground turkey, 1 whisked egg, 1 tablespoon smoked paprika, 2 teaspoons chili powder, 1 finely chopped jalapeño, and ⅓ cup grated red onion. Mix well and season with salt and pepper. Form the mixture into even patties.
  • Preheat grill to medium heat.
  • Add the patties to the grill and cook 6 to 7 minutes per side or until cooked through.
  • In a bowl, add 1¼ cups coleslaw, ⅓ cup mayonnaise, and 2 tablespoons lime juice. Combine well.
  • Divide the burgers onto buns and top with coleslaw mixture.
