Strawberry BLT Lettuce Roll Ups
Featured In WTFCF Season 1, Episode 02: Berries Bust Out. Strawberries, those little pink bites of sweetness. Combined with bacon and chicken makes this simple recipe a satisfying and delicious appetizer, snack or lunch.
Ingredients
- 1 head of lettuce, iceberg, romaine, or butter
- 3 ounces (6 slices) organic turkey or chicken breast
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 8 slices of bacon, cooked crispy
- 1 package of fresh Wish Farms strawberries, sliced
Instructions
- On a large cutting board, lay out 5 to 6 large pieces of rinsed lettuce.
- Add to the center, 3 slices of lunchmeat, 1 tablespoon mayonnaise, 4 bacon slices, and ½ sliced strawberries.
- Roll the lettuce like a burrito or serve ‘open face’.
- Repeat for second roll up.

Wish Farms has a long history dating back to 1904, when Harris Wishnatzki arrived in Ellis Island and began to sell fruits and vegetables from a pushcart on the streets of New York City.
