Sometimes mistaken for Mexico’s Independence Day – celebrated on September 16 – Cinco de Mayo is Mexico’s anniversary over the Second French Empire at the Battle of Puebla in 1862. More popular in America than Mexico, Cinco de Mayo has become a celebration of Mexican-American culture.

Americans celebrate it as a drinking holiday where parades, parties and traditional foods are the honored guests. But, don’t be surprised to hear mariachi music and see traditional Mexican folk dancing.

Celebrate with us by indulging in Deconstructed Beef Tamales With Chimichurri Sauce.

Gozar!! (Enjoy!!)
