Seed Your Future is thrilled to announce the launch of its inaugural Nationwide High School Art Contest, inviting students from across the country to showcase their creativity while exploring the vital role of horticulture in their world.
With the theme “The Importance of Horticulture in My World,” the contest challenges students to express how plants, flowers, and green spaces impact their daily lives through painting, drawing, or mixed media art.
The top-winning artwork will be prominently featured at the 2025 Seed Your Future Gala in Chicago, Illinois, on June 13, where the student artist will be recognized. Additional outstanding submissions may be spotlighted throughout the year on Seed Your Future’s platforms and events.
Prizes & Recognition
Overall Winner – $500 cash prize for the student. Their artwork will be the focal point at the Seed Your Future Gala. The student’s art teacher will also receive a $500 check for classroom art supplies.
Second Place Honorable Mention – $300 cash prize.
Third Place Honorable Mention – $150 cash prize.
All submitted artwork may also be featured on Seed Your Future’s social media to celebrate students’ creativity and vision.
How to Enter
Students must submit:
✔ An original artwork aligned with the contest theme.
✔ A title and a brief description (200 words max) explaining their inspiration.
✔ Three photos showing the creation process.
✔ A high-resolution image (300 dpi) of the finished piece.
✔ A completed Student Information and Release Form signed by the student, teacher, and a parent/guardian.
The submission deadline is March 7, 2025. The entry portal is open and winners will be announced on March 24, 2025.
