Scalloped Mushrooms
Scalloped Mushrooms are a modern twist on an old classic using Highline White Flat Mushrooms. This must-try dish combines comfort and flavor in every bite.
Ingredients
- 16 ounces Highline® White Flat Mushrooms, washed and thinly sliced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- fresh parsley, for garnish
- salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a medium bowl, add 1 cup shredded mozzarella, ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese, 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning, ½ teaspoon onion powder, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ½ cup cream, and 2 minced garlic cloves. Mix well.
- Place mushrooms in a casserole dish and pour cheese mixture over top of mushrooms.
- Bake for 30 minutes until mushrooms are tender. Garnish with fresh parsley, season with salt and pepper to serve!
